Mother Julian of Norwich
**Today with Julian – July 23rd
At the same time as I was seeing
this bodily sight of His Crowning with Thorns,
our Lord showed me a spiritual sight
of His intimate love.
And in it I saw that He is everything
which is good and comforting for our help.
Jesus is our clothing!
For He is that very love which enwraps and enfolds us,
embraces us and guides us,
surrounds us for his love,
which is so tender,
that He may never desert us.
And so I saw that Jesus is to us
everything that is good,
as I understand it.

Just as we wrap and enfold our body in protective clothing, which we do as an expression of care and love towards our body, so are we fully and enwrapped, clothed and protected, in Him. Not only enfolded in His love, but enfolded in Himself. Would you find Jesus? Lokk no farther than your own soul, for He is that which all encloses you.
